ABOUT beri [jé.da]

We believe better organizations begin with how people experience them.

beri [jé.da] was created around a simple observation: people are constantly being asked to perform, decide, adapt and move forward—but rarely given enough space to understand what is happening within them along the way.

We create that space. Not to slow organizations down, but to help people move forward with greater clarity, readiness and intention.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

People are not separate from performance. They are what make performance possible.

People are not separate from performance. They are what make performance possible.

People are not separate from performance. They are what make performance possible.

Organizations ask people to perform, lead, decide, collaborate and adapt. How people experience those demands shapes not only their wellbeing, but also how they think, relate, respond and move forward.

01 — SPACE BEFORE RESPONSE

Not every situation needs an immediate reaction. Creating psychological space can help people step back, see more clearly and respond with greater intention.

02 — PURPOSE NEEDS RECALIBRATION

Purpose is not necessarily something new to find. What matters may remain, while how we express it evolves as our roles, circumstances and stages of life change.

03 — CHANGE HAS A HUMAN SIDE

Change may begin with a strategy, structure or decision. Transition happens within people as they let go, reorient and adapt to a new reality.

04 — READINESS MATTERS

Sustainable change depends not only on what organizations ask people to do, but also on whether people have the clarity, capacity and readiness to move forward.

Better performance and more human organizations do not have to be competing ambitions.

WHERE WE COME FROM

Built from the intersection of organizations, people and lived experience.

Built from the intersection of organizations, people and lived experience.

beri [jé.da] brings together decades of experience working with organizations and leaders, evidence from research, and a deeply human understanding that change is experienced personally—even when it begins organizationally.

01 — ORGANIZATIONAL EXPERIENCE

Inside the realities of work.

Inside the realities of work.

Our perspective is shaped by years of working alongside organizations, leaders and people through growth, transformation, performance pressure, organizational change and leadership transitions.

02 — EVIDENCE & RESEARCH

Grounded in what we know.

Grounded in what we know.

Our thinking draws from established research across work psychology, leadership, recovery, purpose, psychological safety, identity, self-regulation and human transition.

03 — LIVED EXPERIENCE

Because transition is personal.

Because transition is personal.

Careers evolve. Roles end. Responsibilities change. Identities shift. New chapters begin. We believe understanding transition requires attention not only to organizational systems, but also to how people actually experience change.

We bring these perspectives together to make our work rigorous enough for organizations—and human enough for the people within them.

HOW WE WORK

We begin with the moment—not with a predetermined solution.

We begin with the moment—not with a predetermined solution.

We begin with the moment—not with a predetermined solution.

The right kind of support depends on what people, leaders and organizations are navigating. Sometimes the need is space to reflect. Sometimes it is readiness for change. Sometimes it is support through transition. We begin by understanding what is happening and what matters now.

01 — LISTEN

Understand the moment.

Understand the moment.

We listen to the context, the pressures, the questions and the human experience behind them—without assuming the answer before understanding the situation.

02 — UNDERSTAND

See what matters.

See what matters.

We bring together organizational context, human experience and evidence-informed perspectives to identify what may need attention, clarity or greater readiness.

03 — SHAPE

Co-create what is useful.

Co-create what is useful.

We work alongside the client’s leadership team to co-create the right response—bringing together their understanding of the organization with our experience, perspective and evidence-informed approach.

Different moments need different responses. We understand the moment together, then shape what comes next.

Luki Suardi

Founder

Luki is a scholar and seasoned HR executive who has spent more than three decades working at the intersection of people, leadership and organizational transformation.

After years of moving through demanding leadership roles, Luki experienced jeda in his own career—a period of stepping away from the rhythm that had shaped much of his working life. That space gave him the opportunity to slow down, reflect, reconnect with what mattered, and consider how purpose might be expressed differently in the next chapter.

The experience reinforced something his professional work and academic interests had increasingly suggested: sometimes moving forward begins by creating enough space to understand where we are.

His perspective today brings together the realities of organizational and leadership practice, academic research into leadership and the human experience of work, and personal reflection shaped in part by his practice of mindfulness and meditation.

beri [jé.da] grew from the intersection of those experiences—and from a belief that people, leaders and organizations sometimes need space not to stop progress, but to make what comes next more intentional.
